“Black Neck Blue” Published in The Five-Two

I'm pleased to share that one of my new poems was published in The Five-Two, the weekly crime poetry blog curated by Gerald So. Like a talented detective, the literary journal was brought out of retirement and put back on the case of sharing crime-related poetry.

When Gerald decided to bring The Five-Two out of retirement, I was honored that one of the first new poems he published was mine. This poem is a look at a crime and injustice that has existed for a long time.

“Two Wrongs, Making a Right” in The Five-Two

The Five-Two has published my poem "Two Wrongs, Making a Right."

"Two Wrongs, Making a Right" was inspired by the idea of raising the stakes in a situation many of us have experienced - getting pulled over for speeding. The poem goes beyond that and explores the consequences of one's actions and the potential for redemption.

"Victimless" in The Five-Two

I'm thrilled to announce that my poem "Victimless" has been published in The Five-Two, an online journal that publishes one crime-related poem each week. "Victimless" explores the lingering guilt and fear of a past crime through the lens of an adult reflecting on naive teenage years.

You can find "Victimless" and other crime-related poems on The Five-Two website.
