Go World Travel Magazine Goes to Washington


Washington, D.C., is a city where history, art, and architecture come together at every turn. From the Lincoln Memorial’s iconic steps to the soaring dome of the U.S. Capitol, each site tells a powerful story.

During a recent visit, we walked the National Mall and revisited some of our favorite museums, like the National Gallery of Art, the Museum of American History, and the Air and Space Museum.

Even beyond the monuments and museums, D.C.’s architecture is something to admire—from neoclassical landmarks to modernist gems and the Gothic spires of the National Cathedral.
