“Black Neck Blue” Published in The Five-Two

I'm pleased to share that one of my new poems was published in The Five-Two, the weekly crime poetry blog curated by Gerald So. Like a talented detective, the literary journal was brought out of retirement and put back on the case of sharing crime-related poetry.

When Gerald decided to bring The Five-Two out of retirement, I was honored that one of the first new poems he published was mine. This poem is a look at a crime and injustice that has existed for a long time.

Pests in the Workplace

My Faraway Tables poem, “Pests,” was published in the anthology, Which Side Are You On?. The anthology features about 80 poets and their workplace-themed poems. The anthology was published by Moonstone Press, part of Moonstone Arts Center in Philadelphia.

“Pests” is a workplace poem only in that it takes place in the workplace. It’s also a pandemic poem, and it focuses on those who take over the space while people were sheltered at home.
Learn more about the anthology and how to get your copy at Moonstone’s website.

"Avocado Toast," published in Border Beats

My poem, "Avocado Toast," has been featured in Border Beats, a thought-provoking collection that explores the concept of borders—both physical and metaphorical—in shaping our lives, identities, and cultures.

The anthology provides a rich tapestry of essays, stories, and poetry that delve into the complexities of human existence through the lens of borders.

You can find Border Beats on Amazon, available in paperback for $15.00. The anthology features  a range of unique voices and perspectives that are well worth crossing the border for.

"Rug Pull" Published inThe Beatnik Cowboy

"Rug Pull," my recent poem,  has found its home in the digital pages of The Beatnik Cowboy, an online journal  that observes poetic injustice.

Anyone who has invested in questionable projects, whether in the stock market, crypto space, or in other marketplaces, will understand the bad flavor that can be left by blindly following emotiont and trusting a bad project. Unjust? Certainly for those swindled by scammers.
