Arizona Awaits

Our next travel adventure: visiting family in Arizona.  We'll enjoy a lot of quality time together, but that won't slow us down!

Although I've visited and lived in the west before, this will be the first time my wife and kids have ventured west of Chicago, so it will be an eye-opening experience for them. In many ways, exploring Arizona and Utah will prove more unique than some of the unique countries we visit across the globe.

Flagstaff will be our home base, where the elevation is high and the weather is cool. But we'll venture to several hot locations, including the Grand Canyon's North and South rims, Sedona, Walnut Canyon, Wupatki, Sunset Crater, the Petrified Forrest and Painted Dessert, Zion National Park, and Bryce Canyon. 

You never know, we may even take a few snapshots!
