Out of Tune Tuesday

Who says you have to be in tune to be good? Not Baltimore writer Rafael Alvarez. Come meet the author this Tuesday night at the release party of the new fiction anthology, Out of Tune. The book features stories by Rafael Alvarez, Rosalia Scalia, Jason Tinney, and more.

The event -- Tuesday, December 19 at 7 p.m. -- is housed at Playbook Sports Bar, at the corner of Dundalk Ave. and German Hill Road in Dundalk.

See the CityLit page for more information.

Hello, Mr. Goodman, I've been browsing through your blog and I have to say I've enjoyed reading it quite a bit. It is very refreshing to read from someone involved in the literary scene.

So, through here, I'd like to invite you to participate in the Opus Epitome project. We're a site dedicated to promote all sorts of art, including literature, from all sorts of cultures. I'd like to offer you a section of your own, through which you can publish your writings on what we hope will become a larger site (In the 'community' sense, as of now we're up to 1 terabyte or so of available monthly transfer). If you're not interested for some reason or do not have the time, feel free to join our forums (through which you can still submit your works for the "Guest Art" section). Please not that since we are a fairly new site and thus, do not have a substancial budget, we would not be able to pay you, but we're more than willing to start doing so as soon as the site becomes profitable.

Thanks from a fellow NaNoWriMo participant!
