Free Fall with Lit and Art at the Watermark

Join us this Sunday, October 13 from 2 to 5 p.m. for Lit and Art at the Watermark for an afternoon of exciting readings, live music, original art, a talk about the fall of Saigon with newly declassified information, and a special concert by acclaimed author Madison Smartt Bell! Not to mention wine and refreshments, all free an open to the public.

The next Lit and Art takes place this Sunday, October 13 from 2 to 5 p.m. at Watermark Gallery, 100 S. Charles St., across from Baltimore’s Inner Harbor.

The program features original art by Manzar; original songs by Goodloe Byron; readings by Lauren Beth Eisenberg Davis, D.R. Belz, and Barbara Friedland; an exciting presentation by Tom Glenn on the fall of Saigon (he was there under fire as it happened); and a special musical performance by National Book Award nominee Madison Smartt Bell. Did we mention free wine and refreshments?

The Lit and Art reading series is part of Baltimore Literary Arts Week, which is part of Free Fall Baltimore.

This event is part of Literary Arts Week, a week-long celebration of literary arts programming and writers, poets, and readers, part of Free Fall Baltimore. Created in partnership by CityLit Project, the Greater Baltimore Cultural Alliance, the Maryland State Arts Council and with the participation of the William G. Baker, Jr. Memorial Fund.
