NPR on The Brave Work of Writing
Last weekend, Baltimore's WTMD (the local NPR station) broadcast an episode of Clear Reception with Sheri Parks on the brave work of writing. The hour-long program began with film producer Christine Vachone, and Sujata Massey. Then, Sheri interviewed Gregg Wilhelm of the City Lit Project and Christine Stewart, Creative Alliance writer-in-residence on the Write Here, Write Now Project.
When discussing the "Baltimore voice" and emerging writers in the area, they mentioned some of us reading at the Baltimore Book Festival this weekend: Judy Turner, Nancy Greene, Paul Lagasse, Barbara Friedland, Fernando Quijano III and Eric D. Goodman.
