I'll Take You to Lithuania in Baltimore Style
The April issue of Baltimore Style Magazine includes my travel story on Lithuania. From Vilnius to Takai, exploration of the enduring cathedrals and synagogues, from Uzupis to the University, we explore unusual sights, shops, and restaurants.
Anywhere you stand in Lithuania’s Old
Town Vilnius, you can see the spires of at least three churches. For a nation
once under the Soviet Union’s hammer and sickle, the number of ancient
cathedrals that survived is amazing — in part the result of its remote
location, the southernmost nation in the trinity of Lithuania, Latvia and
Estonia that make up the Baltic States.
