Madison Smartt Bell: A Most Cunningly Crafted Tale
Madison Smartt Bell is the author of 13 novels, including All Souls’ Rising, which was nominated for both the National Book Award and the PEN/Faulkner Award and won the Anisfield-Wolf Award. He’s also a musician, the recipient of the Strauss Living Award from the Academy of Arts and Letters and had a new novel published this spring: The Color of Night.
When he wasn’t busy writing or performing, Bell took some moments to read Tracks. Here’s what he had to say:
“Goodman's Tracks is a most cunningly crafted tale—a perfect read for trains, planes and automobiles... or even for your armchair.”
